I am Jailene Tiznado, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) with 2 years of experience, and I am just beginning my counseling journey. I specialize in working with children, teenagers, and young adolescents who have a range of concerns such as family issues, depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, eating disorders, school issues, and more. I have previous experience with group counseling, crisis intervention, anti-sexting training, anti-bullying, and anger management training. I also have experience as a behavioral technician working with autistic children with behavioral issues. I utilize a variety of clinical approaches that are targeted to my clients' needs, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solutions-focused therapy (SFT), and creative therapy. I strive to assist my clients in identifying the goals they hope to achieve to improve their daily lives. I believe it is important to help others find a starting point so they understand where their journey needs to begin.
