Does this sound familiar?: You've lost touch with the hopes and dreams that used to motivate and inspire you. An important relationship is in trouble: your relationship with your spouse, partner, child, or family is a repeated source of pain. You received feedback that you don’t seem yourself lately or that your behavior is alarming to those who care about you. The responsiveness of a therapist can help us acknowledge the deep urging and longings of our truer selves. Therapy can be a place where we chart a new course for our lives. “You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.” --Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. I have 12 years of experience providing psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, adolescents and leading therapy groups. As CT licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, my approach is broadly humanistic, client-centered, systems oriented and trauma informed. Change occurs in a therapeutic relationship in which you feel understood and supported. My practice is conveniently located, with flexible evening hours to accommodate the needs of working individuals and families.
