About

I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Texas and Arizona. I have been a social worker for the past 16 years, practicing in mental health for the past 11 years. My experience includes working with diverse populations including geriatric, adults, and adolescents in various settings. I have worked in foster care/adoptions, a shelter for unaccompanied minors, skilled nursing, and as the Director for inpatient and outpatient services in a psychiatric hospital setting.

I specialize in working with those struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, and trauma. I also work with families and couples. I practice the biopsychosocial model, exploring how biology, psychology, and socio-environmental factors play a part in your current mental state.

My goal is to be your partner in getting to the core, peel the layers, and use a solution focused approach to deal with what you are going through. Seeking help is not easy, but it is the first step towards making the change you are looking to make. I am excited to start a partnership with you! Remember you do not have to do this alone. I am here to help.
