About

Are there parts of you that feel overwhelmed, overstimulated, disconnected and burnout? Do you feel like your relationship with your partner has changed after having children? New moms and parents can often feel that there has been so much emphasis on taking care of baby, that they end up feeling that their own needs and wants don't matter. I am a mother myself and am passionate about working with those on their journey into and through both motherhood and parenthood. I enjoy working with both mothers and couples.

I have training in the Mothercentered Approach which uses Internal Family Systems (IFS) to treat Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADS). I work with mothers at any stage of motherhood experiencing guilt, shame, grief, rage, and perfectionism. I work with couples to increase effective communication and uncover the emotional content under disagreements.

Thank you for taking the first and very important step in searching for support. I would be happy to schedule a 15 minute phone consultation to see if we are a good fit before booking an initial session. Please let me know what you hope to get out of therapy and then I can answer any questions you have. Looking forward to connecting!
