About

Managing life’s challenges can overwhelm each of us. Whether juggling typical ups and downs or coping with loss, trauma, major upset or crisis, there are times we need compassion, an advocate, a fellow strategist or just someone to listen. Our relationship to ourselves, family, career, or life changes can sometimes seem out of control, leading to depression, anxiety or isolation. Therapy is a tool designed to help manage life’s challenges and bring clarity, perspective and a sense of well-being. View 6 Photos

I am a psychotherapist with over 12 years of experience. I work with individuals, couples and families focusing on mending relationships, anxiety, depression, substance use and other serious mental health issues including medication compliance. Further, I have extensive knowledge of LGBTQ issues and GNC non-binary clients and their families.

In addition to my experience and skill as a professional clinician, I bring my background as a teacher, creative writer, comedian and actor to the therapeutic setting. You will find yourself in a comfortable, non-judgmental and supportive environment either online or in my Brooklyn Heights office.
