I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York. I graduated from Teachers College, Columbia University, with Master of Education and Master of Arts degrees in Psychological Counseling and from Brooklyn College (CUNY) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I am also a Diplomate in Logotherapy through the Viktor Frankl Institute of Logotherapy (USA) and an accredited member of the International Association of Logotherapy and Existential Analysis at the Viktor Frankl Institute in Vienna, Austria. I get inspired by travel, nature, culture, photography, and a continuous search for meaning. I have extensive experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of diagnoses, including PTSD and trauma-related disorders, affective disorders, and addiction. I utilize trauma-focused, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, humanistic-existential, and meaning-centered approaches in my clinical practice. I believe that a warm, genuine, and collaborative therapeutic relationship that is based on trust and respect facilitates psychological healing, growth, and well-being. I create a safe and supportive environment for my clients and I equip them with valuable psychoeducation, insight, as well as effective coping and self-care skills.
