If you don't know how to 'fix it' yourself, why not call a professional? We all know how to call a plumber or electrician or landlord, why is it so hard to call a therapist? Or even a friend or partner? First, let me say, nothing is broken, YOU are not broken. You want more out of your life and relationships and you're not sure how to get there. You've lost your way in more ways than one, and your connection to self and others may be shakey at best. Maybe you feel stuck or like no one really understands. Together we can rebuild your sense of connection to yourself and others, dare I say, even a sense of aliveness and joy. I work with teens, young adults, adults, intimate partners, family systems. Beyond my master's degree, I have received training in three somatic trauma interventions. I am trained in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing and NeuroAffective Touch. All three support the body's innate access to healing in a supportive and relational setting. I've been there, scrolling through pages and pages of therapists, trying to decipher the coded language of psychology and not knowing what I need but knowing there must be something out there for me.
