Mission Statement: My goal is to support the transition and transformation of the individual in the process of becoming the best version of the self that one can be. Therapy allows you to have a safe place to process issues that can cause discomfort, become distressing, and disrupt your life. Some issues might be overwhelming and too difficult to confront alone. Therapy can help provide the support you need to process uncomfortable feelings and thoughts in a safe and compassionate environment. The goal of therapy is focused on promoting your inner well-being. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy. Narrative therapy is based on social constructivism theory and considers reality as socially constructed and based on the way we interact with others. People can have different realities of the same experience. A narrative is useful to organize our reality to have meaningful experiences. The power to transform is in your choice to change your narrative and the core beliefs that sustain that narrative. Once you choose to go down this path - you cannot turn back. You cannot unlearn what you have learned. The seed of change has been planted and it is up to you whether you choose nurture it and allow it to grow and flourish.
