For over 10 years, I have offered individual and couples therapy to people who are challenged by depression and anxiety, particularly due to relationship issues and struggles in making major life decisions (e.g. divorce, career change, becoming a parent). I have special expertise in sexual acting out and, in addition to other treatment modalities, lead groups to treat this. I specialize in helping people who struggle with sexual acting out and other disruptions in intimate relationships. I view sexual acting out as a psychological defense against the emotions that arise in intimate relationships. I have training in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP). This approach is well researched and can be very effective for a variety of people.
