About

I have been providing Psychotherapy for individuals, families, and groups for over 40 years.I have trained mental health professionals in the United States and Europe. I teach a course every year in Family Therapy and Cultural Diversity at the Child Study Center of Yale University Medical School, where I supervise and train Psychiatry,Psychology and Social Workers in psychotherapy with individuals, couples and families.

Patients are often at a crossroads, have lost relationships, feel self-doubt, loneliness, and a lack of trust in themselves and others. I offer a therapeutic relationship which will help people to overcome anxiety, depression, and other forms of unhappiness,by promoting self-awareness and discovering options for creative success in life.

I believe that an effective therapy relationship provides the conditions for people to overcome fear and doubt through self acceptance, self discovery, and thoughtful, creative action. I want you to feel cared for and understood. I listen and speak compassionately, respectfully and carefully.
