As a hermit crab outgrows its shell and leaves it for a more spacious home, so must we. Often we go to therapy when our lives stop working for us. It's in this place that I welcome you. I will be with you as you explore what your heart needs you to shed, where your heart is asking you to go, and the vulnerability of being in the in-between. I am a trauma-informed therapist who draws from neuroscience, attachment theory, emotional biology, and family systems to inform my therapeutic work. Clients describe me as having a warm, authentic, and calming presence about me, and am skilled at articulating what we experience but struggle to explain. I have a soft spot for teens. It's hard to be a teenager. It's when we most want autonomy and respect, but don't have the brain structures yet to make wise decisions. I offer teens empathy, permission to fail, and support to grow. I'm also passionate about the LGBTQ+ community, as well as those who are deconstructing their faith. All are worthy and welcome.
