My work has been in schools, homes and psychiatric hospital settings. Along the way I have learned a lot of tools for emotional regulation, improved communication and positive perspective taking that I would like to share with you. Take some time to improve your relationships, routines, and the quality of your day! Stress reduction is key. In therapy you might work on building four self care routines, to include better sleep, nutrition, exercise and positive relationships. Life can be hectic and hard, and sometimes it takes a lot of bravery to step away, take a hard look at it, and make changes. But you might find small adjustments add up very quickly to a happier, healthier you.
