I work with clients of all ages who are dealing with emotional and life issues / changes. I work with client's symptoms rather diagnosis. Clients who want to get better and are willing to work and make commitment towards change can benefit the most. My approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic. When needed I incorporate art, relaxation, mindfulness and breathing techniques. The sessions are interactive and goal oriented. They focus on reframing negative thinking, problem solving and learning new skills to deal with daily stressors. I have over 30 years experience working in Mental Health and more as an educator. My specialties are mood disorders, PTSD, dual-diagnosis and grief and loss. In order to assure emotional stability, I also incorporate psycho-education when needed. I worked with clients from many countries, different cultures, religions, races and with gender issues. I'm also fluent in Hebrew. My goals for my clients are: increase self-esteem and self confidence, improve self-image, gain skills to transit from being "stuck" to un-stuck and improve daily living.
