Loss and trauma come in all shapes and sizes. The death of a loved one, the loss of relationships, traumatic events, and various life changes (even ones that seem to be typical) can lead to feelings of intense sadness, confusion, anger, and anxiety. They can impact our day-to-day functioning, our relationships with others, our jobs, our sleep, and our overall wellbeing. Too often, problems we could manage or avoid in the past become barriers to living quality lives, and we're left feeling hopeless and alone. I specialize in grief counseling, trauma work, and developmental diagnoses. By building strong therapeutic relationships with my clients, a nurturing space is created to explore emotions that may not otherwise feel safe. I provide individualized, research-based treatment while keeping in mind my clients’ needs, cultures, and values. Sometimes the biggest action we can take is to seek support to gain solid ground. You are not alone. I welcome you to contact me today for more information or to schedule an appointment.
