I have years of experience working in the community mental health network, which has given me the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients with diverse backgrounds and struggles. Because of my experience, I feel very confident working with nearly any client. I have a special passion for adolescents and their families. I believe that family plays a huge role in healing and should be incorporated into treatment as much as possible. My approach to therapy is to provide a safe and supportive atmosphere to process concerns, while encouraging clients to use skills to change their situation. I utilize my DBT training to help clients stabilize their moods and manage impulsive behavior. FFT is the therapy that I use most to support families reduce negativity and blame. I use EFT to help clients understand how to meet their attachment needs. Lastly, I utilize the EMDR to help clients effectively process trauma. I have a passion for helping people walk through their worries, heal, and find ways to make their life even more fulfilling. I like to partner with my clients to create the best possible outcome by utilizing their unique personality and history paired with my compassion and knowledge of interventions.
