About

I believe all people have a deep well of resources for healing and growth within them that life experiences and the noisy world cover up. The work, as I see it, is about regaining access to that well so healing and growth can lead to a free, emotionally flexible and meaningful life. Whether it's the kind of anxiety that feels intolerably constant or the kind that limits you socially, or a sense of not being good enough, or a sense of being lonely or broken, I work best with people who are ready for things to be different. People who've tried a lot of things but still struggle in the same or similar old ways.

Throughout the work, I'll endeavor to understand you from your point of view. And then we will use the tools of mindfulness, compassion, story telling and noticing the aspects of your inner life that have the biggest impact on your outer life in order to find healing, freedom, peace and new space to grow into or leave open just to enjoy breathing in.

I'm seeking clients who want to change, not as a new years resolution but as a patient but certain revolution. I will work free of charge with anyone who comes because they want to free their hearts and minds of racism, hatred or bias. This world needs open hearts. Open hearts tend to be healthier and happier. More info: www.groundedinbirdsong.org/schedule
