About
I have been passionate about working with neurodivergent individuals since I was young. Throughout high school and college I volunteered with people who have special needs and those who learn and think differently. These experiences led me to pursue a degree in Special Education. After teaching Special Education in Texas for four years, I was inspired by my classroom experiences to enhance my skills further which prompted me to pursue a Master’s in Counseling. I am part of a team at Spectra Therapies + Evaluations, which provides individual and group therapies as well as comprehensive evaluations. I am passionate about helping others achieve their goals, grow, and gain a better understanding of themselves and their place in the world. I enjoy working collaboratively with clients and sometimes their families to build on their strengths and foster growth. Together, we will work towards creating a more confident and successful individual. At Spectra, we provide services for depression, anxiety, executive dysfunction, obsessive thinking, autism, ADHD, and difficulties with change and transitions. In addition to individual treatment, we also provide social skills groups for individuals with Asperger's, High Functioning Autism, PDD-NOS, ADHD, and social anxiety.
