I enjoy working with teens, college-age, and young adults with various issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, and complicated peer and family relationships. I tailor my approach to the specific strengths and goals of the client so that each person experiences person-centered and evidence-based therapy. My collaborative approach empowers clients to uncover their strengths, overcome obstacles, and embrace their stories. I strive to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship where clients feel understood and empowered to create change. Before becoming a therapist, I worked with teens and college students in nonprofit settings for ten years. Drawing from my experience, I apply these insights to foster genuine connections, empower resilience, and help clients build tools for mental and emotional well-being. I consider it a great privilege to walk with people through their challenges, hurts, and fears, by helping them experience healing and wholeness. I see counseling as an opportunity to help people cope with life’s challenges, diminish suffering, and experience increased purpose, joy, and self-awareness.
