My goal as a therapist is to allow space to explore your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors in a collaborative environment. During therapy, we can gain insight about where symptoms originated, while also working to cope with and mitigate distressing feelings in the present. Therapy can allow you to be healthier, feel freer, and to establish deeper, more compassionate, connections with yourself and others. I work with adults in individual therapy and also provide parenting support to individuals/couples who want more effective parenting strategies or to feel closer to their child(ren). I have experience treating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, school and behavioral challenges, adoption issues, parenting coaching/support, learning differences, peer relationships, attachment, divorce, and life transitions. I offer treatment approaches including CBT, motivational interviewing, and solution focused therapy. Clients describe my style as authentic, direct, and supportive. I have a person-centered, holistic approach. I look forward to meeting you and discussing the ways in which counseling may be beneficial at this time in your life. For new clients, please email rather than calling.
