Whether you’re hoping to relieve distress, heal from pain, increase the health of your relationships, or explore personal questions, I’d be humbled to support you on your journey. My recent work has been focused on counseling survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, childhood abuse, and other forms of interpersonal / systemic violence. I also work with people who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, dissociation, substance use, and experiences of oppression. I identify as queer/non-binary, enjoy working with LGBTQ+ folks, and am committed to anti-oppressive, liberation-based care. My therapeutic style is trauma-informed, relational, and embodied. I care deeply about the ways in which your life context has impacted your self-understanding – and I seek to create a nonjudgmental, compassionate space that allows you to foster self-empathy and move from shame, grief, or pain toward empowerment and meaningful connection in your daily life. In addition to my work with individual adults, I have a wealth of experience working with couples and non-monogamous relationships. I have also received intensive training in Tandem Couples Counseling (TCC), which often works well for relationships that are high conflict or have histories of trauma, substance use, and/or infidelity.
