About

My belief that all people deserve meaningful opportunity and satisfaction in life defined my 15-year career helping adolescents, young adults, adults, families, and parents overcome barriers to wide range of goals. I serve clients with a variety of needs stemming from disability, depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting/caregiver roles, family of origin, substance use, and vocational exploration. I see value in finding meaning in difficult life experiences to inform new ways of understanding ourselves and engaging others, and I believe people benefit most when equipped with the tools, knowledge, and care to author their own stories.

I specialize in exploring the impact of individual and generational trauma on identity development and relationships, and I help clients redefine their experiences to promote growth, self-awareness, and advancement. I will work with you to reveal your innate worth as a unique human being with strengths you can leverage to build the life you want to live.

I see therapy as an interactive, authentic partnership with mutual responsibilities built on a foundation of safety, respect, and trust. I prioritize proactive education about the process to support understanding and comfort. While I will challenge you to step outside of comfort zones, I will value your voice, preferences, and agency over our work.
