My favorite quote is: "You find peace not by rearranging the circumstances of your life but by realizing who you are at the deepest level." Therapy is a great space to foster curiosity about yourself and the origins of thought patterns, beliefs and behaviors. I call myself the "Under the Iceberg Therapist" meaning I like to help clients that want to explore deeper issues that go beyond the surface as I believe that is where true healing happens. Some of the modalities used are narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and somatic therapy/mindfulness. I provide a relational approach specializing in intergenerational healing, inner child healing from a womanist, sex positive, multicultural perspective. I use narrative therapy to address anger in women, conflict in family relationships, codependency, sexuality and setting boundaries. I have practiced yoga and meditation for over 10 years - as well as other healing modalities and metaphysics. I enjoy working with clients who are inquiring into their spirituality and soul. I also enjoy working with highly sensitives, empaths and healers in setting boundaries and self care.
