Authenticity, self-acceptance, and empowerment are the tenants that guide my work as a therapist. I will support you in deconstructing ongoing distress, exploring and expressing your emotions, facilitating insight and empowerment, and fostering more authentic relationships with yourself and with others. I use parts work, somatic experiencing, DBT, art therapy, and attachment theory in my work as a holistic, trauma-informed therapist. I am also trained in and use EMDR, and TF-CBT. I use an antiracist, anti-capitalist, and social justice lens and understand clients as part of the systems they live in, rather than individuals solely responsible for change. My style is warm, caring, compassionate, and attentive to your experience, and I strive to create a space that is safe and genuine.
