About

Feeling stuck? Find yourself having the same problems at work or in your personal relationships? Perhaps you can even identify specific ways you're sabotaging yourself... You are not alone. As part of development, we learn adaptive as well as maladaptive ways of coping; which can be frustrating and feel hopeless, but your life doesn't have to stay this way. With focused effort and collaboration, we can work to understand how your life got to this point and what you can do to make things better. Psychotherapy is about increasing awareness which leads to freedom.

I have experience in evidence-based treatments from my training at Columbia University Medical Center, and the Personality Disorders Institute of Weil Cornell. In addition, my psychoanalytic training allows me to address issues in-depth and with the amount of stamina and intensity needed to work through them and move ahead.

My aim is to create a space where you can stop and look at your experiences. I believe relationships are formative in our upbringing, and that new positive experiences can also make a lasting impact. I greatly enjoy my work and look forward to speaking with you.
