I want to help you gain a greater sense of control over difficult thoughts and feelings. Clients often begin therapy requesting concrete tools to walk away with from each session. This is something I offer through my enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approach, with a dual focus on techniques for altering unhealthy thoughts and behavior, and for improving insight, awareness, and mindfulness. I have a long track record of creating powerful results for my clients. My effectiveness is enhanced by the way the therapeutic relationship I create supports your growth and understanding, as well as the acquisition of techniques for managing stress and living powerfully. I incorporate CBT, psychoanalytic, and positive psychological techniques. My integrative approach allows me to alter treatment to meet your unique needs. I have a passion for writing.
