About

I view counseling as a vital practice that involves connection, commitment, and hope for change. I’m able to recognize the courage it takes for anyone to ask for help, and I want to recognize the strength it takes to chose to ask for what you need. I focus on approaching each therapeutic relationship with understanding to begin building trust and open communication. My desire is to be able to provide a safe place for anyone to feel heard and work together to allow for growth.

While I have experience with a variety of issues, I have focused on areas of trauma, mood disorders, and eating disorders. My approaches are focused on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.

Through these experiences and approaches, I want to be able to offer a supportive environment while focusing on accountability for anyone seeking change. If you're uncertain of what you may be searching for, I will provide a free 15-minute phone consultation to answer any questions you may have before scheduling an appointment!
