Greetings—I appreciate your courage in thinking about starting or restarting therapy—it can make anyone nervous. Just a little about me: I’m honored to say I bring more than 25 years of experience as an adult and adolescent therapist. Originally from Overland Park, Kansas, I’m now a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel who served, lived and traveled abroad. I worked with widely diverse clients during my service and continued to practice what I preach. My clients, which often include other healthcare professionals, now consistently benefit from the gentleness and patience, and timely and valuable insights, I learned along the way. I warmly welcome all and bring extensive experience in: supporting Service Members and Veterans as they cope with and resolve trauma; guiding adolescents through challenges related to adjustment, depression, anxiety, identity issues, and juvenile delinquency; and fostering growth and healing for individuals and couples in the LGBTQIA+ community. Reaching out can be scary, I get that. Maybe just a quick text, or call—rest assured I’ll get back to you as soon as I can, most often the same day. I very much look forward to meeting you and talking about how I can help.
