I have been providing mental health services for over 30 years. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults (18-65+) in inpatient and outpatient agencies in California, Washinton state, and Las Vegas. I am Mexican American bilingual and bicultural and have been privileged to work with that population since working in San Diego. I am always learning and seeking new more current modalities to give each patient individualized treatment. I am very excited to learn more about the Neuropsychic studies and how learning more how the brain systems interactions result in mental and emotional disfunction. I work with individuals who are looking to gain insight into themselves and improve their quality of life. I seek to understand each individual holistically, including their backgrounds and the strengths they already possess to provide an individualized approach. I am experienced in mind/body therapeutic interventions, such as Somatic Experiencing, engaging the body in psychotherapy, Reiki and understanding how Trauma is impacting patients' health. I believe that psychotherapy needs to be holistic, including physical, mental, spiritual and mind interventions.
