About

I currently offer Telehealth services to clients residing in Arizona and California. I place a high priority on access to care and therefore offer a generous sliding fee schedule. I have been in the field of public and behavioral health at federal, county and nonprofit settings as a manager and direct service provider for over 25 years. I work with individuals with mild to moderate stress, anxiety, panic disorders, depression, trauma, family and relationship difficulties, mental and addictive disorders including clients with chronic dependence on alcohol and opioids.

My general orientation is humanistic. I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy, EMDR/FLASH, Motivational Interviewing and Psychodynamic Therapy. I am a student of Jon Kabat-Zinn's Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). My therapeutic approach is influenced by my own life experiences in confronting and overcoming challenges.

I believe if one commits to psychotherapy, is willing to take steps necessary to change, services should be made available regardless of their ability to pay. To this end, I am a provider with openpathcollective.org where member clients join for a one time membership fee of $65 and receive services starting at $40-$70 per session.
