Gina is a clinically licensed master’s level social worker in the state of Kansas. She received her BA in Psychology in 1991 and her MSW in 1998, both from KU. She works primarily with children and families dealing with complex trauma, attachment issues, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, substance use, ADHD, Autism, and disruptive behaviors. Gina is experienced working in residential, outpatient, and community-based settings. Her primary treatment modalities include the use of CBT, DBT, DDP, SFT, and Family Systems Therapy. She may also counsel from a Christian perspective, if desired. Gina also spent two years working with orphaned and abandoned children overseas, and she is passionate about working with families to improve relationships and functioning, facilitate emotional growth and skill development, and instill hope.
