We have a vision of how we will be as parents, yet we find ourselves in the same patterns as our parents. This parenting journey can be both exhilarating and draining. When parenting isn’t what we imagined and not entirely enjoyable, it may be time to entrust a guide to accompany you on this journey. Having a guide can be supportive if you’re an intergenerational disrupter who would like to parent differently than the way you were raised. I will help guide you when you become activated by your child and expand your capacity for intense emotions. My approach to therapy is one of mutual collaboration and fostering a therapeutic alliance that facilitates change. You will be able to express yourself within our supportive, nonjudgmental therapeutic space. I engage young children in play therapy, in close partnership with their caregivers. I also work with adolescents and adults. We will embark on a journey together to fully understand your emotions and the purpose they serve. A better understanding of your inner experiences can help reduce the intensity of these strong emotions and provide a sense of relief. We will strive to deepen your relationships with others and ultimately lead a more fulfilling life.
