Choosing a therapist who is a good fit for you can be a very important task before beginning therapy. Therapy can sometimes be difficult so I strive to create a safe environment for our work based on respect and trust where you can feel accepted and honored regardless of what we work on. Over 30 years I've worked with a wide variety of people, settings and approaches so I can try to tailor what we do to best fit your needs. I've gained extensive experience in working with anxieties, depression, and addictions. Sometimes folks just want to clarify direction and meaning or work through a difficult decision. More of my interests and strength areas are listed to the right. I welcome your call to explore how we can work together. My office is located near downtown Harrisonburg. There are several other counselors and and psychologists sharing the grounds. I have no office staff, just me, so the experience can be calm and personal.
