Being trapped in the throes of addiction, relational conflict, trauma, and crippling shame can seem so scary, lonely, and hopeless. It is heartbreaking to envision the person we wanted to become or the relationships we desired to have, but the messiness of life circumstances has made both of these things feel out of reach. We so desperately want to be known and seen for the beautiful, unique, creations that we all are; however, we assume and fear that no one else cares to embrace us and understand us as we are, so we feel pressured to settle for who everyone wants us to be. It's exhausting. Would you rather thrive than just survive? I am passionate about helping clients to grow in self-awareness of the destructive patterns that are leading to great suffering in their lives. My style is based on sincerity, compassion, nonjudgment, understanding, and empathy. I believe that our endless search for peace and fulfillment has tried to be found meeting legitimate needs in illegitimate ways.
