Welcome! My name is Gara O’Neil and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I have received my Master’s degree at Slippery Rock University in Clinical Mental Health specializing in Addiction. I have worked in many different levels of care with diverse clientele such as Inpatient Hospitalization in Drug and Alcohol with adults and adolescents, Residential treatment for youth and adolescents, Community Mental Health and Outpatient settings. I have worked with people who experience depression, anxiety, stress management, trauma and life transitions. View 4 Photos The different therapeutic modalities I utilize include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I work to create a safe place that empowers clients to be their authentic selves while feeling seen and heard. I believe that my job as a therapist is to meet each individual where they are and to get them where they want to be.
