About

I am a psychotherapist with six years of formal training in clinical psychology, specializing in the treatment of PTSD, complex trauma, and borderline personality disorder. I understand that trauma and adverse life experiences can affect a person in a number of ways. I am passionate about helping individuals who are struggling with overwhelming emotions, unresolved trauma, anxiety, shame, and unhealthy relationships. In therapy, I strive to foster a space of acceptance, trust, and collaboration, viewing you as the expert of your own experiences. Together, we can work towards healing and personal growth.

I am known for having a validating and light-hearted demeanor, combined with a client-centered and goal-oriented approach. I utilize evidence-based modalities including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), internal family systems (IFS), and eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).

Starting with a new therapist can feel unfamiliar, and even daunting, so I appreciate your openness to this experience. I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation, where we can discuss your therapeutic needs and goals to ensure we are a good match.
