About

My focus is on ADHD organizational skills and issues related to technology use. We try to cope with the world’s challenges based on the values and strengths we built during childhood and it is important to name the emotions that can be overwhelming. I use a mix of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychoeducation, and skills training to address challenges that ADHD creates in school, social, and home settings.

I can help adolescents develop positive behaviors, such as task organization, following routines, and setting goals. I can also assist with skills in planning, organization, and time management, as well as developing social skills that aid teens in improving peer relationships.

Adolescents often face unique emotional and developmental challenges and may be hesitant to trust adults, including therapists. As a therapist I demonstrate genuine empathy, and this can help an adolescent feel understood, accepted, and safe enough to open up, which is essential for effective therapy.
