I have been a mental health counselor for almost 30 years, in Cuba, my country and in the USA. As a psychiatrist, I specialized in medication management, and individual, group, family and couples counseling. I m eclectic: various techniques that fit with the case and the current problem. I often practice cognitive behavioral, narrative, conflict resolution and client-center techniques. To treat families and couples I usually proceed with the systemic-constructivist model. I m currently work as Lead Analyst. After I approved credentials in the USA, I have worked in individual counseling with children and adults for over 12 years. I have been professor of clinical psychology in Cuba and in USA. I currently deliver a behavioral analysis as lead analyst for children and young people with autism and other disabling mental conditions.
