Francis A. Bax, MS, LMHC, LPC, CASAC-Master is licensed in New York State and the state of Nevada as a Mental Health Counselor and certified as an Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor in New York State with over 30 years as a clinician, a training supervisor, and an expert at case and care management. My therapeutic approach integrates several evidence-based techniques, including cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, motivational, and rational-emotive counseling, to provide a well-rounded and flexible method tailored to each client’s needs. I work with individuals dealing with chemical dependency, mental health issues, and co-occurring disorders. I work with clients with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, and ADHD. I help people who have experienced physical trauma and emotional abuse. My counseling style is warm and interactive, grounded in creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel genuinely heard and understood. I believe everyone is unique, and I approach each person with genuine respect, sensitivity, and compassion.
