Accepting new clients at a new In-Person location. I am committed to a strengths-based, supportive approach to help adults, couples and families improve their quality of life. I work with clients experiencing difficulty with depression, anxiety, chronic mental illness and life transition. My practice is informed by an insight-oriented approach to helping people stabilize their mood in the here and now while taking a look at how the past has shaped their thoughts and behaviors. Therapy provides a safe environment to help clients identify and change patterns of behavior as well as healthy ways of relating to others. I have worked at several outpatient mental health treatment facilities including Massachusetts General Hospital in Revere. Formerly, I worked as an emergency service clinician for the state Department of Mental Health, assessing safety and risk with suicidal and homicidal youth and adults.
