About

My name is Frances Nedjat-Haiem, PhD, LCSW. I am a licensed clinical social worker in California with over 18 years of experience working with individuals and families who have experienced trauma due to medical illness and difficulty coping. My expertise involves assisting clients with life transitions, especially with people experiencing loss, grief, and bereavement and difficulty managing to cope changes that accompany these issues.

I have degrees in social welfare (MSW) and advanced academic training in social work (PhD) with a focus on supporting individual and family decision-making in chronic disease management and end-of-life care.

Change can happen quickly by making connections to resources and finding additional support. With someone who listens and deeply cares, you can feel supported and have guidance to address complex circumstances. There are no guarantees in this life except we will continue to move forward after loss and pain.
