Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
My treatment focus is helping people find themselves within themselves, and helping people establish and maintain who they are and who they want to be within intimate relationships. Relationships sometimes feel too distant and, unfortunately, these relationships can often leave people feeling emotionally abandoned or isolated. Or, relationships can feel too merged, leaving people feeling overwhelmed or smothered by another's needs or demands. My strength lies in helping people find a place where they can be in intimate relationships and not emotionally lose themselves or overwhelm loved ones. Psychotherapist/Couple Counseling. View 5 Photos Private practice 30+ years. My preferred method of therapy depends on the client's needs and on the relationship between therapist and client (the prototype for relationships outside treatment). Therapy is to help people deal in the real world and the client chooses their therapeutic journey; the therapist's job is to read the sign posts. My speciality is relationships; emotional intimacy within relationships. Published Author: (Pub 2024) "Eight Fought to Live: The Story of My AIDS Therapy Group, 1988-1990."
