I provide a very realistic, yet compassionate experience for individuals (and families) who experience symptoms relating to anxiety/depression, self-esteem/bullying, Bipolar, ADHD, High-Functioning ASD, Women's Issues, Dom. Violence, Grief, Anger, and Trauma. I typically use tenets from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, and other client-centered approaches in order to meet the unique needs and challenges of each client, regardless of age, race, or gender. Additionally, I am trained in the integration of psychology/theology, so I am able to offer a Faith-enhanced counseling experience, on request Whether my client is a child, adolescent or an adult, I strive to help build emotional intelligence, problem-solving skills, conflict resolution, increased self-esteem, and healthy coping skills, with an emphasis on communication, adjusting and overcoming life stresses, decreasing maladaptive coping mechanisms and other symptoms that prevent quality of life.
