Are you not feeling like yourself? Have you been feeling “stuck”, have you experienced emotional or relational trauma, struggle with Depression, or engage in self-criticism; I can help. As a therapist, I created a space where you can heal and just BE. While in therapy, you will overcome trauma, manage your depression/ anxiety, walk away from self-criticism and lean towards self-compassion and self-love. While my specialties include trauma and depression, I enjoy working with millennial women of color who experience anxiety, find it hard to manage life transitions, stress, and workplace trauma. LCSW supervision available.
My therapeutic approach is to provide a safe, non-judgement, culturally-sensitive, and collaborative space. I believe each client’s treatment should be individualized. You will have a confidential space to unpack your emotions, prioritize inner healing, and cultivate a healthier relationship with yourself through radical self love.
I have over 10 years working with Black women and women of color. I am confident in many therapeutic approaches, but,CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Person Centered Theory, Solution Focused, and Somatic Experiencing are my primary therapeutic approaches.I also love to use mind-body practices, mindfulness, and stress reduction approaches while working with clients
