About

The ancient Greeks believed that the Oracle of Delphi delivered the god Apollo's prophesies sought by kings. These prophesies ranged from going to war to crop planting. By & large, kings took the advice as best they could despite the confusing language. I find this to be comforting. Often the search for comfort can take us away from where our treasure might lie. Personally, I've weathered serious life experiences & through this have come to realize that there really aren't any easy answers. As a therapist, I bring those life experiences & my clinical training, together with a willingness to engage with clients fully & authentically.

It's helpful for clients to understand their family life, what shaped them & accompanies them through life. Clients have reported that they value my ability to be fully present as they examine this & consider what matters to them, make choices that align with these values & goals, & begin to experience their true selves, along with a sense of hopefulness.

I have a background in trauma as experienced throughout the lifespan. Interventions are practical & evidence-based, taken from ACT, CBT, DBT, family systems, & neurobiology. This approach, combined with my warmth & humor, is tailored to each client, to help them feel sturdier, to experience the throughline in their lives, as they navigate their world.
