About

What I find most beautiful about this work is how we surprise ourselves when we begin to talk about our lives in detail. Loneliness, feeling inauthentic, being your own worst enemy—these are common problems I come across—ones that I find are best met with a curious mind. I’ll provide that. I’ll listen to you in a distinct way from others, and together you and I will build a clearer picture of what it is that’s going on in your life. This is no easy task, and I aim to respect that. You may also expect me to wonder with you about our relationship, a potential springboard for patterns that arise in your relationships in your life.

In addition to my work with adults, I see teenagers and children in my practice. I find that with children, the door for communication opens with play—a means for expressing that which does not always feel safe to voice directly. I will work with your child or teen to promote self-reflection and provide a space for them to practice coming into being.

Altogether, I have 7+ years working with: depression, anxiety, school performance issues, self-sabotaging behaviors, procrastination, teenage and adult substance use, self-esteem troubles, questions about gender and sexuality, loneliness, and single-parent concerns. I also supervise and write on topics in psychoanalysis and gender studies.
