About
I have been a substance abuse and mental health clinician for 19 years. I have worked in residential, intensive outpatient, outpatient, medically assisted therapy, and school settings providing prevention, intervention, assessment, treatment, and referral services. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in group and individual sessions providing both education and therapy. I am qualified to provide license reinstatement counseling for the State of Vermont. As a result of my continued growth and development personally and within the helping profession, I became interested in alternative treatments within the counseling relationship. In my quest to fill my therapeutic tool box, I became certified in Acu-Detox and in Reiki. More recently, I became a Master Certified Health Coach. I use traditional as well as alternative holistic approaches within my scope of practice. I work with people with substance abuse, mental health, and co occurring concerns. It is my goal to partner with the client as a guide in their path towards health and wellness to facilitate sustained change.
