My clinical expertise comes from 7+ years of applied practice across school and clinical settings. I thrive working with students of all ages from diverse backgrounds and with different intensities of symptoms. - I have worked with students aged 04 - 44, mainly seeing students with presenting issues such as: Anxiety, Depression, and other mood-related issues; Gender and Sexual Identity development; post-secondary adjustment; Emotional Regulation; cognitive regulation, Traumatic stress, processing, and trauma-informed care; Grief; behavioral management; and values exploration. I blend components of evidence-based therapies into treatment plans based on individual developmental level, strengths, goals, and reported problems. Common modalities include a blend of dialectical & cognitive behavioral therapies, acceptance and commitment therapy, and solution-focused therapy with emphasis on intersectionality, social justice, and humor. Our thoughts, behaviors, feelings, strengths, and diverse environments in which we live are all interconnected and impact our health. Growing up is tough, and is sometimes traumatic, lonely, and fearful. Focusing on healing through scientifically-based education, skills, and counseling will help you find your strengths and thrive.
