About

People often seek therapy to explore ongoing problems and identify underlying, long-term dynamics that are contributing to life's struggles. It is my hope to help cultivate an environment where we can process real-life concerns using plain language and a pragmatic approach to help you get where you'd like to be. Seeking therapy, in part, is about connecting with someone who can understand you on an individual, human level and can aid in the process of exploring a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationships, and your struggles. Through such processes, together we can cultivate the change you are looking for in your life.

Working from an emotion focused approach, all that is asked is that you stay present and stay curious about yourself. You probably already know a host of coping skills, so developing new tools won’t be your focus. Rather, through honing in on your established skills, and focusing on the root of your concerns, we can work together to create meaningful change.

Additionally, if you are an early career professional looking for supervision, feel free to contact me. I believe that learning happens within the context of an authentic, hands-on environment.
