Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
I have a strong sense of compassion and empathy for adults and teens struggling with depression, anxiety, difficulty controlling their emotions, self-harm, and thoughts of suicide. We all need a safe place where we can talk about our feelings, free of judgement, with someone we trust. While loved ones and parents may provide this also, therapists can offer a unique perspective which can assist people with developing the skills, strengths, and self-esteem to continue their lives with confidence. The world can be a frightening place, but each person has potential to thrive under the right conditions. The key component of effective therapy is the relationship between client and therapist. I work to develop this relationship, meet clients where they are at, and help them develop skills and confidence to grow into the people they were born to become. If you or your teen are struggling, please free to contact me with any questions you might have! If you are nervous about and not familiar with the process of therapy, we can speak more about it so that you feel comfortable.
