One of my professional idols, Irvin Yalom, MD, coined one of my favorite terms, "Fellow Travelers." We are all Fellow Travelers...and at any given time, we are at one crossroads or another in life. I am here to meet you at your crossroads. I provide a collaborative psychotherapy with adults and teens. I have over thirty years of experience working with individuals experiencing Depression, Anxiety, and all sorts of major life transitions. My therapeutic orientation is primarily Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy while incorporating eclectic ideas including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, DBT-Informed, and Neuropsychotherapy. I am excited and would especially enjoy working with individuals who feel stuck at an impasse and are ready to make some important changes. Becoming unstuck often begins with learning how to change thoughts in order to help change behaviors; as well as learning and putting into practice a variety of exciting new coping skills. Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, family estrangement, or struggles at a crossroads of life? I am here to give you a safe place for help and healing through individual therapy with me. I offer free consultations in which I would be happy to answer questions and see if I am the right fit for you.
